Hello Xtar, with this review, should I stop charging NiMH batteries on the VC8S charger?

Great review and comprehensive testing. I'm wondering, what might be a possible explanation for the NiMh batteries failing to get charged properly -- either overcharged, or not charging to full (not even half-full for some of them). Could it be contact resistance issue, or the specific VC8 sample unit has a factory defect? Would like to hear what Xtar has to say about the issue (I think it's a definite flaw to have overcharged and undercharged NiMh if the above (overcharge/undercharge) happens…
