New XTAR VC2

Just when you thought that there was so many choices from XTAR they bring out this.

How much will this cost?

Explains the recent VP range price drop… maybe

Interesting offering, though I am not sure the rationale. “Charged” current is not the same as discharge current (actual cell capacity) so has limited use. Screen is nice but it doesn’t help for at a glance status of charge (see the light up buttons on the SkyRC MC3000 for example, or even the LED cluster on Nitecore i4).

Maybe it is XTAR’s answer to the Nitecore D2/D4. :zipper_mouth_face:

“Compatible with any USB power and wall adaptors, no need to spend extra money.”

So it would pull 2A and only provide 1A each chanel…?

if I read it right, it now has a .15a charging option.

And a 0.5A upper limit by the looks of it? Also appears it only has the 2 settings, 0.15 or 0.5??

VP2 has a 3 options (0.25, 0.5, 1.0)

Is anyone using thie XTAR VC2 yet?

Realy tempted to order this VC2 for $18.81.

HKJ has reviewed it, or is it a different revision or something?: Test/Review of Charger Xtar VC2

It's not that good (2 charging currents). I would rather get the WP2H as a cheap alternative, which has 3 charging currents.

Max Constant Charging Current 500 ±50mA
Min Constant charging current

150±50mA

My Mistake you can adjust the current.

Without 4.35V!
