Kiriba-ru sent me a couple. I’ll post some results during the weekend.
Here’s some preliminary data with the stock Convoy S2+ reflector. Can’t recommend that, but maybe I’ll find a better environment.
Swapped an Astrolux S1 reflector and added d-c-fix (sand) on the lens. Made a world of difference! A bit too cool for my taste, but at least the tint is now very consistent throughout the beam.

I tested these and they came out very good. The highest output 3V LED I have tested yet! (well, in a hot test, the XP-L2 gets slightly higher from a cold start).

I can’t believe nobody wants them.
If I was confident in my reflowing skills I would buy a few. But I’m not yet and my training LEDs haven’t arrived yet.
The only 3535 boards I have in stock (and will probably be able to provide leds soldered) is noctigon 4xp.
Some time ago it crossed my mind that they would be great in a D4. Probably best dedomed. Though we don’t know how they behave dedomed or how best to dedome them. We don’t know the die size either.
And I already have a set of XP-L W2 that are waiting to be dedomed and put in that light….so thanks, but no, thanks.
