[̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ιοο̲̅)̲̅$̲̅] Olight Canada Clearance Sale: up to 50% off + spin the wheel to win

I'll see what I can find out.

Here, too...lots of glitches and odd behavior (Firefox and Edge both). I bailed out on ordering what I was going to because it wouldn't let me check out (even after registering...first time browser/buying on your site). It also would not let me delete an item from the cart so I had to clear cookies and cache for Olight, then reload. Initially, clicking anything in the dropdown window for my cart I couldn't get anywhere. "Buy now" was inactivated but finally the small text "view cart" or whatever did work and I could get to the cart that way. Each time in the cart the page when through 3-4 renderings as it attempted to decide pricing, shipping, and the discount code. Kind of bizarre to watch that happening. Checkout/site problems, cold white emitters and not being able to add batteries to the order just made for a three-strike cancellation...sorry. Site definitely needs a lot of help, though.

Apparently this isn't a new problem either. A friend who was a previous Olight reviewer had much the same story on I think three different flash sales spanning a couple years...about three years ago.

Sorry to hear that. If you give them another chance, try logging in first, add items to cart and then check out. That's what I did with my Baldr S orders. Smooth transaction.

I'll pass on your messages; yours and dthrckt's. I'll also inquire baout HCRI emitters.

I was able to add it to my cart: https://olight.idevaffiliate.com/idevaffiliate.php?id=407&url=2496

Well, I got it to work. Tried logging in first, that didn't help, but I blocked a couple scripts and that did the trick. Still very glitchy and weird, though.

I really just wanted to pick up some accessories but most were greyed out...added a light to make the order. Thanks for the coupons and the free gift light...that's pretty cool and I may just pay that forward as a gift to someone else.

Side note, before I changed my items a little, I noticed that the site was charging tax on shipping. Here in the USA that should not happen. The goods are taxed, but not the services such as shipping. Shipping should be added after the taxed total of goods. As far as I know that is true in every state. It did correctly calculate my state's tax rate, though (and the same rate when it applied it to shipping, too). When my order bumped it to free shipping that added incorrect tax disappeared of course.

Site does need some serious professional help, though. Us light guys may persevere since we like to tinker (and like good discounts) but many people might just walk away from the glitches and not try again (as I almost did yesterday). Other oddities just browsing the site and home page but the cart and checkout are most important. Anyway...thanks and looking forward to the goods!
