I would have been interested to see the runtime results on the protected Panasonic ncr18650ga cells with nipple top. It should perform well against the Samsung and LG batteries. The voltage seems to hold up under higher load with the ga cells.

I wouldn’t worry about it if the difference is actually only 500 K. There’s significantly more color temp shift within the beam itself from the hotspot to spill.
