I checked the website to get an update on the power bank and it looks like they've released it at a US$14.99 price point. At the moment, only white is available and I have no idea when they plan to release the black version. Shipping is not free and, because it was out of stock, I couldn't get an idea of what shipping costs would be to Australia. I think I did see a post in their forum saying that a person from Miami was charged US$18 for shipping making their total cost for the unit US$32.99 or about AU$43.
Their main competitor, being the Xiaomi Mi 10400mAh can be had for around for as little as AU$24 from banggood.com, but I am a bit weary if I am getting the genuine item from them or others like them (ie. DX, gearbest, etc...). If I was to get it directly from Mi Singapore, it's AU$35 including delivery.
I think I'll continue using that DIY 4*18650 power bank that gearbest sells and HKJ reviewed and gave it a thumbs up (http://www.gearbest.com/mobile-power-bank/pp_16793.html). I do have plenty of unprotected 18650s to feed it if need be...
