I got the 35W, wondering if there is much of a difference in output.

I just picked up the 35W HID from eBay. I was testing it out tonight along with the Trustfire X8 and there is no comparison in terms of throw and brightness the HID puts out. I’ll post a review when I get the chance along with video and beam shots. It easily throws 500 meters. When focused for throw at 1 meter it actually hurts your eyes to look at the hot spot. Considering it throws exceptionally well, the spill is somewhat overwhelming and plentiful.
Has anyone tried opening up the 18650 sized HID battery packs?
I would imagine 3 18650 sized batteries found inside? The HID battery pack is rated at 11.1v at 2200mAh.
Also, is there a battery holder I can buy that would fit the three 18650’s of my choice but house the same on/off clicky at one end?
