Love to see the battery holders' details, and in particular the + and - battery contacts.

There were 2 versions of the battery carrier. The early one V1 had plastic ends and is disregarded. The current one V2 has metal ends and you can see pics in this post.

It looks just like Lumintops battery carrier from a couple years ago that they use on the SD75. I don’t know why they didn’t use thIS design from the start. Maybe they tried to save some money and failed? IDK.

Can anybody help me with charging Li-ion 3.7v 10180`s.
Is there a charger for these small batteries ?

Try with spring from pen, place one or two adapters and then spring in between but only if this charger can charge at 0.1 or 0.3ah

I think I’ve seen people use those little magnets to add length to the cells. Magnets might help keep them from wiggling around in the slots as well.

I have the 4 slot version, Gyrfalcon ALL-44.
It states in the instructions and on the box that it charges Li-ion 3.7v 10180`s.
I can not work out how to charge these small batteries in this charger.
There are some small metallic pieces that come with it but for the life of me I can not work out how to charge 10180`s .
They are still TOO SMALL .

Is the problem the length?
Some chargers come with little metal pieces that allow short cells to be squeezed tighter by the spring loaded slots.

Yes, I see it has little threaded spacers to fit short cells.

Also, it does do 0.1 and 0.25 amp charging.

YES THE LENGTH is the problem.
They did provide some metallic small pieces but for the life of me I can not work out how they fit in.
I can not get them to screw in to the ` Threaded spacers` you mention.
I have tried some small powerful magnets I purchased on line but they don’t seem to work.

I can not believe there is NO CHARGER specific for the 10180`s ?
Tried asking BG or GB cant remember which one I purchased from but after sale service from either can be a bit of a hit or miss affair.

Yes the GYRAFALCON ALL-44 does do - 0.1 - 0.25 - 0.5 - 1.0 amp charging .
Does not seem to have 0v waking / charging of old batteries

To be honest have not been impressed with any charger for a long time and being in Australia means often we can only get US or EU electrical plug like I got with my 2 x Gyrafalcon.

I still have 1 in the box.
If you like I can take some pictures and post them so you can see the extra metal pieces and anything else you might be interested in.
What do people see as the ` BEST ` Li-ion charger on the market TODAY ?

southland, the GT’s head is 135mm wide, not likely you’re going to find a camera lens case to fit it. Lenses that size have hard-cases like a suitcase or briefcase.

On that note, I’ve seen smallish aluminum cases at Harbor Freight that one could fit with a foam insert and cut it out to fit the GT. Just saying…

Could you Please tell me what is the maximum width/diameter & minimum height of the Battery Button Tops that will be OK for the BLF GT’s battery holders?

I have some EVVA batteries that have Button Tops that are about 1 mm in height, and about 9.5 mm diameter, and I was wondering if they will fit in the BLF GT’s battery holders?

I am not totally sure what EVVA stands for?

The carriers fit the only protected cell I own just fine with some room to spare so unless they are abnormally large protected cells should work fine.

Just a side note, when I was looking up the TN42 I saw it had a really unique mcpcb. Plus the reflector depth is so deep and the emitter has to sit so low, the side switch is actually higher than the emitter. It’s really strange and cool. To me at least.

In other news, I just got an update on the orders, we currently have 416 orders completed!

Sounds good brotha is there a link to the group buy for the batteries? I’m liking the panasonic idea definitely the best brand to go with. Hope this thing comes in before Chrismas spending it in Florida and thought it might be cool to test this sucker on the beach.
