[PART 1] Official BLF GT Group Buy thread. Group buy officially closed! Lights shipping.

I had to ask.

I wasn’t sure if you were joking or not.

I guess next you’ll ask for a pocket clip? :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, since you asked, yes I would.

Yeah, I figured it would be a good question to get a laugh.

OK, you get used to a particular ramping level, then you ramp up or down a bit, how do you come back to the ramping level you get used to ?
Don’t get me wrong, NarsilM have some advantages but it doesn’t make mode clicking imprecise or obsolete. With a 3 or 4 modes flashlight, you are more able to know quite precisely how much runtime you will have for each mode, I don’t think that you can have the same estimation when you start to play and change ramping levels.

Don’t confuse me with lawallac. (How old is his quote, I couldn’t even find it). I still think there is room for set levels, but mode sets in Narsil is not something I like. I prefer the ramping.

What I do to set a level in ramping mode is go to turbo, then ramp down to what I think is right. With my L6 I ramp down just until I see the output start to drop, then stop there.

With my Supfire I start at turbo then ramp down to about 2000 lumen. I can pretty much tell just by looking. I use this light a lot in a 40 hour work week and can get through the whole week on one set of batteries. I do carry an extra set of batteries just in case I use it more than normal or work an extra day or something. You just get a feel for it with practice.

Can I ask why your so concerned about run time?

I use both lights in my sig for work and as long as they can last a week, I don’t care what the runtime is. I just charge them once a week. The most I let them get down to is 3.5v. Usually they only go down to 3.6v or 3.7v. It’s not good to run them down too far.

If I had a light that could not make it a whole work week I would replace it with a bigger light that could. That’s why I built my Supfire with 26350 cells instead of 18350. I knew the 18350 would not last long enough.

Can you please put me down for one, please.

Hi, I have a Question which 18650 Protected li-ion Akku, is the best for this super flashlight ?
or Lumintop Battery a Recommendation ?

Discussed here:

Please add me to the list for a GT.

Thanks

Please add me to the GT List .
Best regards ……… Hagen

Ok, and can you please explain alternativ shipping?

And so you set it up with the number of modes you want, that is the cool thing about Narsil.

Normal shipping, via DHL in one box, DHL gets the paperwork and checks the GT n at customs, in EU this means, VAT, administration and DHL fees easy adding €50 to the price.
Alternate shipping, va ePacket or something like that, there is a change customs will not see the packake and no extra VAT and fees are due
THIS IS IT IN TERMS OF WHAT WE CAN AND WILL SAY ABOUT IT, JUST SEACRH THIS TOPIC AND READ WHAT WAS SAID AND DISCUSSED ABOUT IT.

Any decent mateched and married protected button tops will do in the GT with its amp drain of 2.5A with 4 and 1.25A with 8 cells

Welcome new members, will update the list later

I’m number 882. How do we pay the $14?

That information is only for the first 555 on the list.

For everyone else, payment details are not set. Once production starts and it gets close to buying time you will get a PM telling you all the details. What store to go to and what special code to enter to get the discounted price, etc… We may even need to do a small deposit before that. It’s still not known.

So for now we wait.

Hello,

he did say it’s release date, december

Well we have faith in Lumintop, but of course release depends on the improved parts, can’t gve a go if there are issues to work on

Welcome two new members, will update list later.

This is exactly what he said…
