I don’t think you’ll see more lumens with a 219B than you will with an XML2.

I hope the tint mixing of close hues will give the appearance of higher CRI than they really are individually, for the 3C, 3D, 3A mix.

Or one can go the other way and chose as different hue as possible like the CW 1A, NW 3D, WW 5A3 and get a really wide spectrum, but then you have the problem of not finding all hues in the same flux bin.

cajampa, the high wet-dry papers are the way to get it right up to ready, then flip the sandpaper over and use the paper back with Mothers Billet Aluminum polish. That or a newspaper. Lay it flat on a hard surface such as a glass table and polish away. Use a clean section of newspaper to buff it. Don’t use cloth at all. You’ll be amazed.

Ok that sounds doable, i have to see if i start to edc it so much i want to bling it out on looks  , although i am curious if the removal of the diffuser looking pattern on the 11 degrees cute-4 would have more impact on the beam when it is less floddy, unfortunately i only ordered one each of the SS & M so i can’t compare against stock if do try to buff out the shine one the SS.

And thanks for the…or newspaper lol, such specific products like that aluminum polish is unfortunately very hard to come buy here in Europe/Sweden.

Try Wenol, it should work as well.

Sorry, I should have elaborated. I was referring to my single XM-L2 lights with standard Qlite 3.04A drivers. I'm not expecting it to be brighter than any dd XM-L2s.

In any case, on single XM-L2 2.8/3.04A lights, I seldom use the modes above 15-20%, and almost never above 50%.

Not sure if I missed it or not, but have these been posted yet?

Update: i no you guys are wanting these asap but can i have few more days and ill have tracking numbers going out to all who ordered, i don't want to mail few here and there i would like to mail all at once

No problem. Just take the time to double check orders and addresses and be sure of your packaging and that’s all you can do. The only issue I had with the tiny10 GB was an improperly addressed package. Fortunately it was local and returned for correction and reshipment. And save your receipts so you have verification that it left you headed in the right direction. After that, it’s all on whatever postal system is used. Good luck.

Yea i started out printing the 2nd post with everyone's orders then going through and checking one off at a time

Can I still order a kit? (for a triple)

Yes you can just check the op for pricing and post here when you paid

All good. Just wanted to check. Cheers.

I may have got a little ahead of my self. Was looking for a project for my first light build and stumbled upon this thread. Thought it would be a good project since I was considering buying the EE X6 BLF Edition from Banggood because it had been on special for $19.99 this weekend.

Now looking better at the parts kit I see would need to solder the LED’s onto the board and I’ve never attempted anything like that that before. And I missed the boat on the X6, checked tonight and the sale is over price is back up to $28.50, (but they do have the host for $16.99).

Maybe I should just get the parts and jump into the fire? Or hold on to them for later.

Besides this kit and the host, all I would need is the 3 LED’s a driver and wire?
With the BLF SE light I could use the stock BLF driver that came with it?

You can get the mcpcb with LEDs reflowed onto it as well as the optic from Mtnelectronics or international outdoor store or Nitro.

Beam0 if u need the led's reflowed i can do it just let me no the leds u like through a PM and ill ship with your order if u decide to buy a x6 kit

EDIT: if u want more power i would consider buying a driver from me as well for the X6 ?

What drivers do you have?

I’m interested as well. Max output!

all i have are >>>A17DD-S08 that most are using in there x6 builds
