Pen Review (The Bolt) - For EDC lovers...

It´s a normal ball-point pen.

The swirly pattern looks really nice!

Well, your birthday isn´t in the next few days, is it?

No, it’s quite a while away.

If you fell in love with this pen, I will be a good guy and give it to you.

If not (I mean, if you don´t really want it), then… not

:quest:

When it comes to writing serious business letters or signing important documents, these are actually my favorite pens. Mickey gave these to me for free at the mall. I tried to get more but he refused. Unfortunately, we got into a huge brawl over the dispute and both got ejected from the mall. They actually want me to buy him a new mickey mouse costume (I tore one of the arms off by accident when he got me in a headlock), but Im not about to do that! My cast and stitches come off next week so it was all worth it:

Before writing, I need to wear this thing to clear my mind and compose my thoughts. It works fairly well but I had to spend $5 to get it… and that was before taxes!:

I know it might all seem rather strange to some people, but my personal assistant seems to approve.

nice pen…looks very technical
I carry Parker Jotter for a very long time…since year 2000 I think…combo of stainless steel and dark blue color plastic material is very solid…use with “fine” refill, write very smooth…and will not rob a bank to buy it

Do you have the Disney eneloops to match?

That is really kind of you! I do not really like ballpoint pens. Thank you though.

Oh, speaking of pens; look what I found at DX new arrivals:

Does anyone have experience with Hero pens?

Why yes I do Chloe! Although they have been rumored to be somewhat useful as batteries, I find them to be just the right size to be used as miniature drumsticks for tapping on the table. It saves the abusive wear and tear on my treasured disney pens.

Did you lose your pink pen?

BTW, do you really own a pink tractor? Me likes!

The sleek, silvery design of that pen makes it ideal for business or corporate environments. It makes you look more professional and stylish at the same time. Thanks for the review, I really prefer push-type pens than the ones with covers.

It’s okay, after much searching I found it!! But I think battery has worn out as it no longer lights up when I write with it! :_( Of course it is completely glued together too. Mine is the “tactical” version with red LED, for covert writing operations:

Usually they only issue these to Disney personnel, but I managed to snag one.

I have experience with several chinese brands - Jinhao, Baoer, and I think Hero too. The quality can be very good, but is not consistent. They can be very nice writers, but you can also get a lemon. Sometimes they require a little work to make them useable.

Thank you, Steve!

Actually I just took out my Jinhao x750, which is a massive stainless steel pen, just to fondle it. Think I'll ink it up and draw a few circles :)

Steve, can you recommend any suppliers for these pen brands?

I always bought them off ebay. I remember a seller named ahai006 and another with a name like jojosomething.

I'd say stick to sellers with more than 99 % positive rating and you can hardly do anything wrong.
