If you could see the images but others couldn’t then that means they were not set to public, aka “anyone with the link can view”
I joined Imgur last night. I have not really had issues with my Photobucket account and have had it for longer than I care to remember but, some reason yesterday I would not upload anything at all.
I had a review to complete so just gave up and joined Imgur... It is a lot less space but as long as it works I plan to stick with it.

What do you mean a lot less space? That the max image size is 20MB?
Because there’s no limit on space other than that…
You're probably right... I read through that... no skimmed all of that. I had way to many uploads to even worry about it.
I can say it worked perfectly. The speed was good and I can see all of my pictures.
I really should have switched years ago...
Here’s a test for Google Photos. It has the “Share - Anyone with the link can see these photos and the people who’ve been invited or joined” turned on. Can anyone see the picture?

Here is what I do for google photos. Take the pictures you want and create a shared album. Then when the photos are moved to that album, go into that album and click the photo you want to post on the forum. Make sure you click the photo so that it changes to full resolution, then “right click”, copy image address, and then use that link for the insert image.
I’ve been using Photobucket for years. Every once in a while it’s slow as molasses, and sometimes they’re down. Just signed up for Imgur. Hopefully it works out well for me.

I do NOT use photobucket anymore,always slowwww and seems to have issues a lot.
I have been using Postimage for several months,works very well, very fast and have yet to have an issue!
With all that said I have yet to have the patience to post pics on here!! I tried about 1.5 years ago and there seemed to be too many steps compared to the “other” forum!! lol!

I followed Johnny macs thread again with the 3 simple steps and it still won’t work?

Those are the steps I followed to try to post that picture in Google Photos. For whatever reason, it doesn’t work for me. Flickr works very easily for me. Very similar process as Google Photos, but with Flickr I don’t have to create a shared album.
I can post pictures of my steps if you think you could help trouble shoot the issue.

I’m using the simple post editor here and have no issues. I haven’t been an active member of Johnny’s forum so I have no idea what’s going on there when it comes to posting images. I just started using Imgur and all I did was right click on the image I wanted to test here, clicked on “Copy Image Address”, and then pasted it in the “insert image” thingy in the menu bar above the text window and clicked ok.
Yeah, if you’re on the “gray background” viewing page of the image you can’t directly copy the URL, you actually need to right click the image and copy the address, or right click -> open image in new tab (so that it opens only the image) and THEN copy the URL.
