Yea I took a chance as nitro seems trustworthy and decided to just let the window pass. Still think we will be okay but the reason I paid early was because initially it was pay early, ship earlyā¦but I guess that is no longer the case.
Again, Iām sure nitro has just been busy if shipment has not gone outā¦hope they go out soon if they havenāt yet.
If it does take too much longer (IE if not out before the weekend) I may just ask nitro for a refund thoughā¦donāt like my funds being tied up for so long.
Iām not scamming anyone I do work all week and been working hard on this if u like I can post pictures of your package ??? I did take pics of them

I donāt think anyone thinks you are scamming, at least I donāt. I think some people just donāt like going over the 45 day period for paypal.
But sorry for the early payers, my intentions was to ship everyone order at the same time so it would help me out a lot and so I donāt have people asking what day I mailed it but for the person that disputed me ill get a tracking for your order thanks
They will tomorrow I just got done with everyoneās order and I took pics of the packages I have lil over 50+ packages to mail so it took some time
Main thing I am still unsure of is, have they been shipped?
If they have, updating the googles doc with tracking numbers will probably put everyone at ease and have less disputes with paypal.

I don't believe the 45 day thing applies here. There was no guarantee that you guys would get it before the dispute deadline. So what happens if you don't get your heatsinks on the 45th day? Yes there's been delays but it's not like the guy had been unresponsive or not giving us updates. Give the guy a break. Just saying...

I believe it does apply because it doesnāt mean they think nitro is scamming. They just want to maintain the buyer protection.
Initially sinkpad said 2-4 weeks from 3/10/13 and people were not expecting for the worst case scenario. Even nitro expected receiving them 4/9 or before. But they ended up arriving to nitro 4/15. Then people just expected at least for the earlier paid shipments to go out but things changed a bit as it would be easier for nitro to make 1 trip. Shipment was finally suppose to be made this past Monday 4/29 but that didnāt happen.
As you can see from the timeline, I think it is just the whole process dragging out a bit (small delay with nitro, but also mainly because sinkpad was a bit slow). Yea I agree there was no guarantee but people just get antsy over stuff like this. I just canāt wait to get these in and get some builds off the ground.
In terms of the 45 day paypal thing, people just want to retain the buyer protection. I believe it just stays open until the buyer gets the package, it doesnāt really do anything unless it is escalated. I personally just let it pass since I trust nitro.
TL;DR, the process is taking longer than most expected so people get antsy. The 45 day dispute is mainly so people maintain buyer protection, it wonāt take money from nitro unless it is escalated.
In the end, shipment is going out tomorrow and all will be good, canāt wait. Thanks for putting in the work nitro.

Thanks nitro, really appreciate this! Everytime I place an FT order, I seem to add yet another host that will work out nice with a 16mm SinkPAD in it!! I got a couple here waiting, and some more on order. Of course I have no time now to work on them, but hoping I will in a week or 2, so the timing is about right for me.
well thanks for the people that has not opened a dispute, ill have all packages out tomorrow between 12-1
dthrckt ill have to add tracking to your order so i can post on paypal for the dispute, or if u can close it when u get them

Itās not like Nitro is making money on this so itās not reasonable to expect this to go down like a business deal. If it were then I would expect a more rapid turn around with envelopes preaddressed and waiting for filling. Itās not so Iāll see em when I see em and be fine with it.
Itās pretty much just like that. I appreciate the time spent, the effort made, and the extended learning curve on the new lathe due to this project.

Will you please remove those pictures since they show names and addresses of members. Thanks for the verification though. Also for those who filed a paypal dispute they were just protecting themselves incase something happen that was bad. They were not saying something bad was happening. I almost made a dispute myself but didnt and gave the benefit of the doubt. I am still a little nervous about not filing it but I am sure everything will go ok. So no one should be offended that one was filed especially since he has so much money tied up in it. I also have a bunch in it too.
Edit - also noticed customers full address is shown and only part of yours is shown in all pics!
