Project Farm tests alkaleaks and lithium AA primaries (and long-term results of NiMH rechargeables)

Just went through the video, thanks for sharing

I really enjoy Project Farms site. Todd tries to do fair and indepth reviews and some of them are nothing short of amazing. Good stuff. In this case, I have to wonder if Lithiums (which I love for their long term storage) might not work as well when placed in series. ie, they fail early because one battery depletes first. Can any one advise if this has been tested elsewhere? Ie, a flashlight with 2 batteries, or a device with 8?

As an aside, I had an Energiser Ultimate corrode in my Eotech 512 rifle sight on one of my AR-15’s. Fortunatly, the Eotechs are designed to be able to replace the damaged part of the sight easily and (relatively) cheaply. But I went back to Eneloops which are so far been found to be 100% perfect as far as corrosion.

3 Thanks

It’s stupid how much energizer lithiums cost in Canada. 4 pack is $18.

“lithium shortage”, so the corporations, which are not only giving a discount for bulk sales to other corporations, are raising the prices to nickel and dime the average consumers.
