Project Genesis

Very nice, I like the hexagon with rounded corners much better than the star shape, but that’s just me.

Also keep in mind that black type 3 anodization is slightly less durable than just plain type 3.
Still more durable than type 2 of course.

I used clear type 3 on my previous build:

It will look different on 7075 though, this was on 6061.

IMO 7075 is the ideal material for a flashlight, it’s very light and durable, but doesn’t have the thermal or electrical conductivity issues that titanium has.
I wish more manufacturers used it.

21700 battery support is also ideal, as those batteries have the highest capacity per volume as well as energy density (capacity per weight) so great choice there.

Since this flashlight is basically taking everything to the highest quality, I would recommend to maybe use these springs in it: Second Generation Silver Plated High Current Beryllium Copper Springs and 95+CRI SST20!
Silver plated and high conductivity copper.
Add a bypass too for even lower resistance

And one last suggestion, if it doesn’t have a tail switch, you could fit one of these on the inside of the tailcap and make it magnetic too
