just had to drop this in a friend and I ordered off of dx as we have many times before. The only problem I ever had was long ship times. This time they were out of stock on everything we ordered they emailed within three days notifying of problem so we cancelled order and received money back on credit card within 3 days I thought it was impressive. Well we are trying manafont for for first time see how that works.

After numerous emails between me and DX I finally received my car dvr after more than 2 months of waiting and cra* excuses from DX. Well, now I finally received the product, only to confirm my opinion and experience about Chinese products… It worked for about half a day; then it was defect, and the software looks like something that was invented in 1995.

Now, my struggle to get my money back has begun. Very convenient to DX, they have disabled my possibility to file a complaint on their website. So I had to reply on one the many responses from ‘Holly’ (who doesn’t read what you write, but only knows two English phrases; “Have patience” and “Have a nice day!”). Last week I had two A60, in two orders, that I ordered at DX about 50 days ago. I had opened a PayPal dispute but decided to give CS a chance and closed it. After all they sent me mails asking if I had received the lights. CS checked and apologized when they told me that the orders had not passed the security check (?) and had been resent and I was asked to wait a little longer. When I told them I would, I got a thank’s for my patience.
Eventually they came via Singapore Post, packages crushed, but the lights were unharmed, without a scratch.

I also had two other orders that took very long, but CS gave me choise to resend or store credit. I chose one of each. Both the resend and the credit was in place within a day.

I must say I am satisfied with CS as it is now. I found out that if I show them trust (no dispute) and am polite (I can live with that) then they are as helpful as I want.

Damn, after reading all these complaints I’ll be happy if my ordered batteries arrive.
Don’t think I’ll be ordering any thing else after that. Also will watch my PayPal time periiod for any disputes. funny thing is I ordered things from they years ago and had no problems other than S L O W friggin’ dellivery.

DX are you listening…get your shit together.

2.0 months ago i had ordered Protected 18650's, they were shipped with FREE tracking number. i never received the tracked package. tracking indicated that the envelope was dispatched by ChinaPost and probably left Chinese ground (airport) but from then on nada. seemingly didnt land on Geman ground, i called national postal office in charge of International Registered Letters (+49-(0)69-9750-2140) who they told me this.

So 2 weeks ago i opened a DX ticket and discussed my case with the csr. After these 2 weeks of chatting and waiting and not finding out what happened to the tracked envelope she gave in and refunded the cart's value in form of DXBank Store Credit, which i am gladly accepting.

There is some minimal chance left that the original consignment still reaches me but i dont think so. ChinaPost has been slow and unreliable in the past 2-3 months and many envelopes (with batteries or not) got bounced at some point back to the shipper. I can confirm the bounce from 1 particular DD shipment for which i had a pre-ship photo (original shipment, "lost shipment") and was resent to cover for the loss (resent shipment): when i got the resent shipment and opened the DD envelope the flashlight/packaging looked very characteristic/special and identical to the pre-ship photo of the original shipment. I found that interesting but not surprising. It only meant that my original shipment was never really lost but got bounced and they were resending the exact same copy.

If the declared lost DX shipment reaches me one day, i will note it here. But since it is declared lost and i dont expect anything from DX to arrive —mentally i am closing this chapter (order) by the issued Store Credit—, i am done with this particular order and am also deleting it off my sig.

Now i got 20$ store credit and am back to ground zero. Not knowing what to do with it. For sure not buying 18650's again!

Btw, i never thought of opening a PP case. From my experience DX nor DD try to scam you with PP. Okay, i didnt get the 20$ back in form of PP money (real refund) .. but i am fine with the store credit. I would prefer PP money tho.

EDIT1: with the store credit i have reordered the exactly same ****. i really didnt know what else to buy from DX. DX selection is poor, HKE selection is rich, that's the bottom line.

I got through on 1 of their $50 discount sales between Christmas and New Years, and was very excited.
It has been 8 days and no shipping notice yet.
Yesterday I received an email that the items were out of stock,
And that I could cancel my order or wait a few more days.
I told them I will wait a few more days, I’m pretty sure they prefer me to cancel my order, and refund me just the price I paid $49,99 and not the price it was worth, $99,99.

I still have a few dollars store credit, so I will use that and not make any new orders.

I just experienced many problems from DX within a month.
First, I can’t access to my cart because of error, so that I ordered from other site(wrong items ordered and money wasted!). This problem has been fix after around one week!
Second, the item I received from DX having problem. They ask me to fill up something to get a ticket, I followed, but when I submit the FORM, the error comes, I tried it for few times and I just give up since the item not so expensive.
Third, just few hours ago, I placed order and when I check out using PayPal, Dx told me that the process can’t be done! I tried for few times already and I will try I after 12hours!

DX just brought me some bad experience and this is the last order from DX. Now Im trying on Tmart, hope they can give me some good impression. DX has very wide selection and low price but their services are really… bad, I think, and they takes a very long time until the order is shipped!

I received one of the two orders I placed on December 31st. The order placed on January 7th hasn't shipped yet.

Other than a longer wait time, although less than 45 days, all my orders with DX have gone well.

The second order arrived today. Now I'm waiting for a third order placed a week ago.

Ive heard all these horror stories about DX and I was wondering why so?
Then I ordered for the first time, my order was processed in timely manner, the same happened during my next order, received both of my orders in around 30 days, which is normal for goods shipped from China with regular mail.

However problems arouse when I tried to buy something during their 50% sale, I was lucky enough to be among those 200 daily coupon winners, but unfrotunately for some reason my payment with Paypal was immediatelly rejected and order deleted from DX database!
I tried to re-order, but my cart kep telling me that I have already successfully used my coupon and thats it, I could not re-order.
Ive posted about this issue here at commercial sellers forum, where DX have their own sub-forum, but it was useless, they have ignored my posts.

Unless I get gift card from them, Im done ordering with them for their nonexistant customer service, even DinoDirect have better one.

I went to Tmart and Fasttech instead ;)!

Thousands of others including myself got only error 500 or “Have a cup of coffee…” bs…

Its not like it just appeared out of nowhere, it took me hour to get it :D!

I spent at least 1:30h x 4 days to get only caffeine overdosage…

I ordered a flashlight in October that probably got lost with the China Post craziness before the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (several hundreds of thousands packages returned). Since my order wasn't sent as registered mail DX (and I) couldn't track it. I was told to check with my local post office. Nothing there.

I contacted DX customer support again and asked for a refund. They told me that since it was more than 60 days after I ordered Paypal didn't allow "direct" a refund. They asked me if I didn't want store credit instead or if I had a more recent order that they could have done a partial refund for. Since I didn't have any use for store credit or a recent order I asked again for a refund since I knew it was possible to get a refund, even after 60 days, but the seller has to contact Paypal and explain the situation. The seller does not have an obligation to do this after 60 days have passed, but DX contacted Paypal and I received my refund even if it was over 60 days after the order was placed.

So a big plus for their customer service even if it required a few messages to their customer service.

All I can say is I’m very satisfied. Ok, there were lost packages and DOA items, but all that got sorted out and I have never lost a cent with them.

The third order arrived today. 1/7-2/1..a little over three weeks.

A fourth order was placed on 1/26. I got tracking on this order. HK Post has accepted it.

My 18650 battery came with 4.2v and 2.4v for another battery. Was still having fun playing with my 3T6 before I realised the 2.4v is defective (did not know until I wasn’t able to charge it).

Open up a ticket two days ago and today they sent me a refund. I was quite surprised by the speed.

I placed an order with DX on January 23rd. They showed it “fulfilled” on the 24th. Hong Kong Post showed it as received from DX on the 29th and “sorting” both at 1016 and 2305 on the 30th. On February 21st it finally shows its first US status. Unbelievable :frowning:

DX has always made me happy in the end, sometimes it takes a while. I can’t say the same for M/F - K/D - and Solarforceflashlight sales.
