I know GB have received lots of heat in recent months and deservedly so!
However, I would like to say thanks to Karen who, in her powers, have done always very good in regards to all my requests and order issues :)!
So, yeah, there it is, company that has shoddy policies but one person, their representative here on BLF, Karen, is the one that makes that small yet important difference to me ;)!
Yeah, Ive noticed that its harder to communicate with CSgearbest because first thing they do is copy-paste usual “no tracking number, no insurance=50% refund to wallet or you pay 50% and we reship” and only then start to listen to you :D! Plus it seems like people there change once in a while while Karen is here most of the time, unless thats a nickname to all of their rep’s :D!
I am satisfied in general with my dealings with Gearbest, but can we please add a big CON to the OP about the packaging and shipping of cells?
Against my better judgement I bought four 30Qs from Gearbest during the last promotion. I received them today, and after the trip they are not even worth the $3 each I paid for them.
Bundled with one loose layer of bubble-wrap (with almost no bubbles intact) and into the padded envelope. This is NOT safe.
I raised the issue a few months ago with Gearbest, and there has been NO improvement.
EDIT: Stickers came off OK. Ink smudges came off with alcohol, but they are full of nicks and dents:

This happens often and even though it can be frustrating.
Best avenue is contact Karen for help. She works hard for us.
Everybody needs to understand that there can be a language barrier when dealing with any non-English speaking country. Google translate is far from perfect AND even though they (Chinese vendors) do sell to English speaking people that does not mean that there are not challenges. ;)
