Interested here too! (and many more than just me). It is a bit of a holy grail to find a nice compact high amp buck driver. There has been an effort by Mataus et al. to develope one (search for 'holy buck driver').

It’s based on the Chinese QX5241 buck controller, same controller used in the old DX SKU 20330 and the new-version DRY driver. As far as I know it’s also the same one used for a bunch of other drivers such as one IOS previously carried and this 5A one from LCK-LED as well as a few others.
