Recommendations for a wired LED work light?

I have a halogen work light that (after 20 years) has finally crapped out. It is similar to this one:

I want to get a good LED based replacement. AC mains wired. Durable. Bright, even light.

Any suggestions?

500W halogen is about 9000 lumen…
So LEDs will be not as bright…
I have such a work light with 3 energy saving light bulbs and its bright enough and was cheap…even dimmable because you can switch the 3 bulbs independently.

I think the one I was using was 150W or 200W. I usually don’t need to light up a whole warehouse, just a wall or something I’m trying to paint…

Something with 3-4 well driven XM-L should do the trick, I think…

Maybe not as much output, but what about this?

Tint in photo looks good, but says it's 7000K (very cool white).

DX has some too at higher prices and user dthrckt has one. DX also has a warm white version. Watch the voltages. Some are 12v, some 220v.

I have bought a 12V Led at fast tech, don’t know exactly what it is but it’s bright and has a very nice tint.

Yeah, I was just looking at those. They also have XM-L modules. If I can figure out how to make a decent reflector and heatsink, I may just roll my own. 4x XM-L (with good heatsinking) at 2.8A should be pretty bright!

I could put a driver like this in the box, and be good to go:

I like this model, Led and come with batteries to use wireless

I think that you can save some $ and time buying a already build lamp…
