I wanted to share some firmware I wrote recently for lights with two emitters—in this case white and red. This is based on MELD and keeps many of the same features, but stripped down to two channels. I welcome any feedback, and although I’m keeping the firmware proprietary I will make programmed microcontrollers available if anyone wants to use this in a project. Thanks for watching!
With a little tweaking, I see this as being useful for the xm-l triple everyone is putting into the EEX6. It even has a spare center pad (no optics) which would be great for a red emitter.
except that the X6 is a clicky and MELD REQUIRES a momentary switch…
Great to see you developing MELD so much further Everett! It’s definitely your baby lol. I have a pretty cool idea for this using an old broken nitecore EA1 I have, I’ll email you about it later.
Whoah CK is back! Correct, this one needs a momentary switch. I do have an open source version I recently posted for red + white with clicky switches though: is there a 2channel driver for single liion?
