Just got this driver in my m10.

I love the ramping mode. 8)

Full build coming up later but the m10 is an ideal host, just need the give away light to arrive now, cwtco is taking their sweet time getting it here. :expressionless:

Hi, guys, these drivers are available now, sorry for the long waiting.

There’re two types of such drivers: one is the 3 mode type, the other is
is the 4 groups type, please leave us a note which type you need when
place the order.

Please do not buy more than 2 pcs so that more members can have it.

Regards!
Hank

Budgetthanks for replying to my email so quickly and responding to this thread. Order placed! Sorry though I didn’t see your limit of only 2 pcs before I placed my order for 3.

I hope there’s some more of the four group type left when I’m ready to order, these drivers are brilliant. 8)

Thank you for the update Hank!

I tried to buy them all but credit card declined! Better get them before I pay my bill. J)

I bought two more. You better get CC working right quick! If you're lucky you might get a regular 3-mode version but the 4-group versions are going to disappear pronto.

There is now three less. Hopefully I will have a light up and running today with one I bought when they first came out not knowing they were a bag of tricks.

Two less now, I couldn’t pass them up, their just too good.

I can afford one, if I quit sodas for a couple of daze… J) I actually ordered one last night…along with a U3, 1C bin

Anyone else coming across the 3 lumen output? I know it happens in my light because of a bad switch but the fact that it happens gives me hope that it’s a really, really hidden mode

I've just run this driver on three AAA Turnigy LSD nimh batteries out of curiosity. The battery holder was cheap and nasty. Starting current at the tailcap was 1.6 amps with the drver on high. I turned the flashlight off after 45 minutes as the light output had considerably dulled.

You have PM Hank

There is a really low output with a current draw of 10mA (probably around 2 lumens) which I sometimes get by fiddling with the switch however, this is not a mode option that can be chosen at any given time.

On my driver to select the really low output, if the light is in the high, medium, low, mode, put the light on low, after it flashes 3 times quickly turn the light on and off fast and it will be in really low mode.

That sounds like the start of ramping mode, the low is real real low. This is what I like, I can go from sleeping child friendly to eye seering, lock in the brightness I want, and it’d there through battery changes, till I decide to change it, it really is awesome. 8)

No, on mine its definitely a separate low low mode. its lower than any other low and you can turn it on and of as many times as you like and it stays in this mode until you want to change it.

MRsDNF. You actually get it on the low, low every time you try the trick? I haven’t been able to find a consistent way to get to that mode except by fiddling with the switch (from any output). With my T5 LED, the output is just about 3 lumens.

If I'm quick enough after the three flashes on low or maybe gords is right. It may be the start of ramping low?

It’s not the start of ramping. When I get home, I’ll try your method and see if it works every time. That’ll be great!!
