REVIEW IMALENT DX80 COMPLETE.

It is not so small.Think the Acebeam X80 instead. It is 25,000Lm and has half the size.

Both are small, just that Acebeam X80 is even smaller. It drops gradually from 25000Lm to 4000Lm within 90 seconds.
Imalent DX80 is bigger, and it maintains above 18000Lm for 2 minutes.

That is definitely true!
And I wouldn’t consider that disrespect nor negativity.

A persons first car shouldn’t be a Ferrari, in fact when I was a teenager, if my first car was a performance car I would probably be dead right now.

With this DX80, I think I am mature enough, and experienced enough to use it.
It is a dangerous light. Light ouput can hurt someone, risk of fire, AND risk of damaging the light due to misuse. I consider running it at 32,000 lumen for more than 30 seconds misuse. Right now I am discharging the battery pack so I can so another charge test. I am running it at a safe 5000 lumen, and I gotta say it takes along time to run that pack down.

I’m finding it really hard to get the light into turbo, double clicking doesn’t always work.

 In my unit go perfect. Its very easy to get the light in turbo.

Does it matter how fast you double click?

No, I just double click. you do not have to do it especially fast. Something happens to your button.

This video shows how fast you need to double click for turbo. At 13 seconds he clicks insufficiently fast to activate turbo.

It’s harder than the X45 IMO.

My DX80 is 32,000 lumens. In fact initial turn on recorded 34,000 but only for a split second, it then hung around the 30k mark for quite a few seconds.

The DX80,is the new insect killer.
This morning when woke up,I heard a permanent zzzzzzzzz and understood that it was a big insect flying in my bedroom. As I was afraid by the size of the insect, and I had not anything to throw it out,I turned the DX on and went close to the wall staying insect, turning the flashlight light to turbo. The light was sun like and in a 3 sec period, the insect was on the floor dead.

Sure it can be used to burn a lot of stuff. :smiling_imp:

So far i’m Happy with Imalent products. No issues at all. In position of DT70, DN70 and DX80.

Same to myself as well!

Imalent did a very great job to hit 32000lm with DX80. Hope it sell well and make more people happy.

I’ve bought about 30 lights now and of all the brands Imalent is one of the few makes I haven’t had an issue with.

Lumintop 007 - DOA
MecArmy PT16 - DOA
Olight S2R - Won’t go into turbo
Acebeam X80 - UV light dead
Skylumen X45vn - Bad driver & circuit
Noctigon M43 - 3 faults
Skylumen TN40vn - o ring split quick
Nitecore Tip - Screw wore threads, case opened.

The double derivative of the plot of the curve of the internet buzz of this light has moved into positive territory.

@search_and_rescue posted about having two of these, one in each hand. Such a post is exciting. That is my MO for my favs.

I am following this powerhouse item with increasing interest.

Got my Dx80 finally. Will have my second DX80 by the end of this week. Did test the intensity of my flashlight an I got 131kcd.

Awesome! Everyone seems to be getting around 130 to 140 kcd.

Wow. Really bright, nice beam shots. Never seen a light that could burn through batteries in 60 seconds. Subscribed…
