Review: Klarus P2A - compared to JetBeam BA20

True about the clicky. The Jetbeam's is very squishy.

The only thing I noticed where the Jetbeam is superior to the Klarus is the way the head makes contact with the tube in high mode i.e. via the two springs at the edge of the PCB. With the Jetbeam I always only have either low or high as selected, the Klarus sometimes is changing the mode when the head is pressed laterally if I fail to tighten the head firmly.

Still +1 for the Klarus.

The clip is great when clipping the light on the brim of a baseballcap/hat to improvise a headlamp. Other than that I agree.

Thanks very much for the review! Frontpage’d and Sticky’d.

You must have Really liked this light—to give it S-I-X stars.

Hello everyone, hello from France.
Can be a stupid question.
Do you think it is possible to power the KLARUS P2A with 1x14500 and dummy 14500, there is no risk of burning the led.
I read on BLF that it was possible on the jaxman e2, I made it on mine and it was very good.
Thank you for your answers. Good day.

I would not do that.

There is high risk of damaging the driver board.

If I remember well, max input is about 3.2v
