Review: Nitecore T2s

thanks for photo.

looks the same as the OP :)

If you look at the photo in the original post under “It is the same width as the X3 but it is only 1mm taller.” you can see that the first millimetre of brass is even with the twist cap, which is not the case on mine.
Anyway, I thought it’s odd as dirt will collect and I thought now I can still complain on eBay in case it’s fake. If this is how they are now then I’m ok with it.

Thanks for your help!

I wish this thread hadn’t been bumped. I dug out my T2, and put in an eneloop. Just as horrible as I thought. Then I looked at the brass ring, to see what memm was talking about, and I heard some rattling in the battery tube when I took out the battery. The metal negative connector and the plastic washer came out.

Finally got it all together again, and it works, but the head of mine (T2) does seem different to memm’s photo - the brass thread is flush with the head. When screwed tight, it is flush. Mind you, it is only possible to screw it tight without a battery - there is a huge space, and teh oring is visible with a battery in it.

Not one of my better buys, but I doubt anyone would actually fake this thing lol.

Oh, reading about the rattling and the connector coming out doesn’t help me being confident about this buy.
I guess I should have gone for the Maglite Solitaire LED, but the low light mode, the clip and the better material for glass and reflector made me buy the T2s instead.
Good yours works again!

Thanks for the review. I almost ordered this model a couple times and I’m glad I didn’t.
