The battery started to develop rapid self-discharge after a month+ of usage, I believe the battery protection circuit shorted somehow. I have had no less than 4 occasions over the past 5 years testing Olight’s sent sample that due to tight tolerance of the machining at Olight production line, a slight offset (either from battery supplier or during assembly process) resulted in damage circuitry of the light or the batteries. I have never had similar issue with other manufacturers like Fenix, XTAR, NiteCore, Lumintop, Armytek, ZebraLight, etc., only Olight. But Olight does release some of the nicest flashlights in the market.
