All E09's they ship is recent production stock and they come with the standard accessory and with no strap-on or lanyard. Believe me.

yes, please post a pic where we can see the design of your black E09 (e.g. tail section, and head knurling) thanks. i've got it on order too and i am wondering if it's the V1, V2 or V3 (well.. the V3 was never produced haha). If mine comes with a strap, then hooray. Always wanted to have an original Tank007 wrist strap!

Looks like your copy is the final V2 version, with the XP-E R3 emitter.
How would describe the beam profile and hot spot beauty? Symmetrical and acceptable?

Beam profile is good but the white wall hunting shows its a bit off centered. Nothing noticeable in real life usage. However, great spot to spill with no artifacts/ringing.

I have no doubt that yours is the XP-E R3 emitter. I could tell by comparing the beams of my old V1 copy and the new incoming V2 copy.
It would be easy to fix an off-centered LED because of the simple construction of the head assembly. If you ever have to unseal the head (because of broken insulation glue), you could look into this.

It looks like the gun-grey is made in more than one shade:
All are with two holes and a notch and seems to perform the same (distorted hotspot). The black one came with lanyard, the others with key-attachment. The only difference I can see is that the hexagonal part on the gun grey one is a little higher than the others.
