I got my triple built tonight! I really like it, used the latest 219C 4000k LED’s and a Mountain 17DDm NUV driver. My old Efest purple 18350’s are just not up to the task. If anything less than full, the highest mode steps down in seconds. It runs really well on a 30Q.
I have not been able to assemble a working single LED light. All of my cells are to long with the Convoy S2+ reflector, going to remove the driver spring and try it that way. I really want the single to work and would like it to be a reflector light.
Still have to install trits, did not want to until I had it working 100%.

Still trying to figure out how to assemble this light as a single led. I have turned down an S2+ reflector to fit the head but the assembly is to long to close with my shortest cells. The TIR’s I have are the same length… I really want to build out the single, please let me know what optic or reflector you have used…

Try the S2 reflector out m8, the SMO one is quite charming realy

Sorry, I really don’t know exactly which TIR this is. It’s in a white plastic holder, snaps in at 4 places, and it wasn’t really an easy fit. I have a lot of kit, quite a bunch I got from Old-Lumens, with so much older stock of parts it’s sometimes difficult to identify a single item.
China calls TC4 6Al4V, but in the US TC4 is really equivalent to an A3 grade or 6Al2Nb1Ta. In the US, 6Al4V would be called TC7 in China. It gets somewhat confusing, to tell you the truth. (In the US, 6Al4V is considered Grade 5)
I used copper single pill, and this optic, bought from Convoy. It fits well. Dia 20mm, height 12mm.
I had built one last year, gifted to someone, sadly my photobucket is empty now.
