- 144A doesn’t have thermal pad built in. And there’s very limited options available at the moment. You have to use custom MCPCB like VirEnce or Djozz board. The easiest way is to find board designed for 119A. Then you need to scrape off the solder mask to widen the pads. I haven’t seen 119A boards for triple too.
Triple 144A would require 18V - driver problem
144A is already 4 x 219C crammed together. You should get approximately the same output with quad 219C.
The most benefit of 144A over 219C is higher max output, simpler single optic source point, higher quality light above 4000K region. It has fatter (almost 40%) spectrum in 480nm region, the area most cool white LED lacking
Texas Ace, my current order is 4x 219C 4000K.
Can you add 4x 219C 3000K to my order.
Please pm me your paypal and total so I can get the funds to you asap.
I assume paypal gift is preffered to avoid fees?
Shipping of my LEDs will be to DB Custom.
Thanks!
I never thought that November - January would be that busy at the other side of the world. I live in an island with relative constant activities but one day (Nyepi Day). I decided to make 2 weeks collection-delivery time based solely on my experience as a buyer. I didn’t want to make people wait for too long. Direct shipping cost from Indonesia to the outside world is crazy expensive. For example I paid USD30 from Indonesia to Finland when I sent Maukka the samples (with tracking number). Non tracking would be USD 23. And that was the cheapest courier available (EMS)
If you guys don’t have any problem I will extend the first delivery up to late December due to several reasons:
- We won’t have Djozz for EU distribution for the 2nd and up deliveries.
There are still sm453 144A and 319A (hex die) samples left in Japan with scheduled delivery at December 21st.
So, until I find someone for EU and nearby to help with the distribution, there will be expensive direct shipment.
Please tell me your suggestion(s).
Many thanks and may the Photons be with us,
Clemence
Yes, it should work fin in anyplace that an XP LED would work as it uses the same star. Lumen wise it will be a lot more then the 219B, exact lumen wise it depends on how hard you drive it but 800-1200 lumens is pretty reasonable on high.
Added to the list.
I will send out payment instructions to everyone as soon as I have some spare time. We have been having some discussions behind the scene and we are thinking about extending the end date instead of doing another GB so soon after this one due to shipping costs being higher then expected and schedules. See the post above.
I have seen the PM will answer and update the list tonight. We are in a discussion right now when to end the sales for this round (1 week for taking requests seemed a bit short to us), and if the period is extended that will also affect the latest payment date.
