I thought I read somewhere a couple years ago that SRM was saying they would be open to making some models with high end steel but they weren’t sure that people would pay the higher prices. I sure would. The Benchmades just look a little too bulky to me, so if I could get a GB-763 with high end steel, I would definitely pay close to what the mini grip costs. The only issue I see with paying more for high end Chinese knives is that the chances of getting a fake go way up the more money something costs.
I’ve always thought of Real Steel as being SanRenMu’s “top of the range” line.
If you look at the Poll on the right hand side of the page one of the choices is “No way to pay more than forty bucks on a Sanrenmu knife”.
I’d really like one of those T08’s.
