I would recommend for defense the strikelight:
One more vote for Olight. Looking at the strobe too long makes you feel like drunk. BLF A6 has a powerful strobe too.
uk laws are very strict about any strike\cutting weapon, just having a bezel like alone could get her in troubles
A simple and completely reliable light with high candela is best. Forget strobe it’s not going to protect her. Something like the Surefire Fury Tactical DFT with or without Intellabeam would be a excellent choice, though it is not cheap but also not junk.
Keep in mind that a light is best to help avoid trouble by finding it before it finds her. A light with high candela might give her a split second to defend herself or get away. That’s it.
Dual-switch Wubens let you go immediately to strobe/turbo, iirr.
If you can get a 2×18650 EC4GT, it’s also a dual-sideswitch light, but its shape makes it really easy to find the switch, no fumbling around. Discontinued, but illumn.com still has a bunch, ’though you have to work out shipping.
Think it was the Camp D4 (Folomov) has “edc” and “tactical” modes, and selecting the latter gets you quick access to turbo/strobe.
