Any idea yet if the BangGood version actually has that tailswitch they show in their pictures?

And with the XHP50 do you think the brightness would be noticeably better?

Just received my JM 35(mt-g2) today in the mail but its acting weird. It supposed to have low medium high and turbo but when I tighten the battery tube to start the flashlight it goes in to strobe mode only! I bought this flashlight from EDC light and today I sent out a email to Ric in regards to the problem and hopefully I will get a response soon from him. Do you guys having the same problems with your jm35? I already tried using diferent size batteries, even LIFEPO4 and still get the strobe mode only, please help me!!

I would be more than happy to do a runtime but don’t have a 4200ma 26650 on hand ,I will do a low battery warning test with an 18650 tomorrow.

I believe someone said the JM35’s only have the sideswitch. Vendors are (presumably) just mixing up the various pictures for the 30/35.

Edit: It might have been Gearbest.

Edit 2: Yep, GB for SHADOW JM35 - MT-G2 or XHP-50 - only $37.90 now !!

and updates about TAILCAP SWITCH?
gearbest confirmed me that it does not exist one JM35 with tailcap switch!!! JM35 is produced with only a side switch, that’s all Wink
If you see a picture of a JM35 with tailcap switch….this is a MISTAKE. no one seller can send you a JM35 with tailcap switch….( i think it was only a manufacturer “pre release” picture, mixing the PREVIOUS JM30 tube and tailcap host product, with the newer “head” of JM35. But in final release, tailcap switch was eliminated …having a new side switch for the JM35)

how is that MT-G2 tint?

Normally it’s a beautiful neutral white. MT-G2 is a super safe bet for tint.

Hmm, but it appears from this picture that it has to be a JM35, since it’s the shorty version:

The light in this photo is definitely the JM35 head (you can see the side switch) So they aren’t mixing up the photos between JM30/JM35, they are mixing up the parts …and they photographed it with parts from both!

Caused a lot of confusion and got our hopes up that JM35 would have both switches, but unfortunately it doesn’t.

banggood updated their product page not to use protected cells…

My JM35 arrived yesterday from Banggood, ahead of the pair of EVVA 26650 4500mAh batteries I ordered along with a Nitecore charger. I placed the order before the above update…

I’m not sure I understand what’s involved in adding a wire in the tailcap, etc. and am thinking I’ll use Amazon Prime to get a quick delivery of another pair of 26650s, but what would be optimum and NOT require a jury rig wire somewhere?
