Just curious as to whether those still signing up here are aware of the huge amount of "discussion" in Krono's thread regarding whether or not they have actually shipped the driver agreed upon.

Definitely seems not to be the 3.3A "hot rod" most of us thought we were paying for.

By all accounts still a nice light if you want a good host for modding though.

I have received 2 CW that I ordered, and tested them with Protected Panasonic NCR18650B, and NCR18650BD cells....

.. and they ARE VERY GOOD => VERY BRIGHT, SUPERB QUALITY, GOOD Modes, Last Mode Memory, etc, etc....

And for U$20 they can NOT be beaten.

Therefore I have already asked to be added for 2 more (1 CW & 1 NW).

I haven’t seen a direct comparison between these 2 cells yet. How much brighter is the BD visually? I have a B, and am thinking of ordering some BDs.

Good Day Argolite,

In the BLF SE Eagle Eye X6, the Protected EVVA NCR18650BD give slightly more lumen output than the Protected NCR18650B batteries.

Note: You have to put the 2 flashlights using a B & a BD side by side to easily tell the difference in output.

I suggest that if You are going to order new batteries, then it is better to get the NCR18650BD....

..But if You don't need additional batteries, then the NCR18650B are Very Good.

I have now standardised on the Protected EVVA NCR18650BD (from Banggood).

If you are #817 and further on, then you should still be waiting for a coupon code. I believe we are waiting on Banggood to restock. This goes for the WW’s as well.

Everyone 1-816 has been messaged the code. I think it’ll be another week before we can send out the next batch of coupon codes for #817+

And like it has been said earlier, there is quite the discussion on whether these lights produce the desired output as promised. As only a few people have recieved them, it has yet to be confirmed. BUT, for $20 US you really can’t beat the price for a beautiful light such as these.
