Sinner Customs.. Tri-EDC's and more. (SOLD OUT)

I’ll have to send it to another shop. It will also take some time, It took them 3 or 4 days last time but It was a whole batch of arround 12 copper pen hosts.

Wonder if they can do a black chrome?

I’m thinking of making this one scream, full out XM-L2, domed, and give it to my wife as an EDC. She’s carrying a Solarforce P1D now that only makes about 600 lumens, but she likes it. Bet she’ll like this one more.

Unfortunately no, Just the regular chrome.

Still, it would give it a very scratch resistant coating and be “purdy”.

I say go ahead, no particular hurry either if you wish to wait and see if you can add a few to the batch.

Okay sounds good, I’ll send you a pm later then.

And a treat…

I was modding a light for a friend tonight and while I was at it, couldn’t leave things alone. Added 760mA to the Ti light’s driver, so now it’s MT-G2 is pulling 3.75A for a start value of 1708 lumens, still doing 1615 OTF at 30 seconds. And fairly warm, I might add.

Feel much better about this level, 1600 is quite nice. I’ll leave it right here.

For now…

Haha, I kneww it! You’ll steadily add up to 5A eventually

Not this week anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

What I’ll probably do is go ahead with a BLF17DD Z FET driver, limited on the top end with a target in this range, around 4A. But with 5 modes instead of 4. Maybe even 7.

The FET driver doesn’t run hot, so there’ll be that much less heat as compared to the 7135 chipped board. And in so doing, I’ll customize the placement of the levels so that Turbo has a big jump over high, keeping 4 levels down in the useful range, bumping moon to be more usable as well. Then Turbo will be the big bang theory for playing, opening people’s eyes and making they’re jaws hang slack.

Just perfect!

Ooh that copper is pretty. Do you think that you would be able to drill and tap it for the screws needed to put on a clip. I like to clip my lights into my front pocket. Some of the different ones that I was looking at are this one and also a stylish Ti clip here
I am leaning toward the titanium but have not a clue how to curve the attachment part. Maybe sheer brute force and fire?

Sinner, in the picture of the copper and the Ti hosts from the previous page, what battery size is the copper light in the picture, 18350 or 18650?

The copper one is only 18350? That is 75$? That’s a sweet light.

The picture in the OP has both 18650 lights.

The EDC light is linked here:

I’ll take a copper 18650 and a titanium 18650. Anyone have any suggestions for drivers?

Should go out today, Thanks for the lightning fast payment.

edit: 100th

Southland, build an BLF17DD or get em from Richard at mountainelectronics, absolute most power you can get and you can control it down with a lesser cell. The Sony C5 or it’s ilke will net over 6A to an XM-L2, 4ish from a protected cell of lesser capabilities.

Amazingly beautiful, exquisite craftsmanship from afar! Kinda shames my other Cu lights….
Tight, best description of the body.
Feels hefty in hand. The switch is awesome.
Now to build this puppy.
Thanks Sinner!
