Sipik SK68 clone $3.63 USD from T-mart (Ended)

Only about 240 left at the time of writing.

http://www.tmart.com/CREE-Q3-3W-210-Lumen-3-Mode-Mini-Focus-Flashlight-with-Pen-Clip-Black_p134351.html?price=hk_intl

Seems to be about $0.30 more shipped to the USA than to AUS.

Ezarc, you must be the Deal Finder of the year 2013!

Thanks for another great find!

Hm, it says $5.12 for me.

EDIT: Clicking the link again made it work, thank you!

By the way, was wondering about the widely asked question, of the difference between different advertised lumen levels of clones with Q3, Q5. An example thread would be,
200 lumen Cree Flashlight(Q3) VS. 300 lumen Cree Flashlight (Q5)

Was there a definitive answer to that?

http://flashlightwiki.com/Cree

How many lumens will depend on a few things:

- What emitter and which bin is actually shipped

- What the driver will push to the emitter

- Other resistance issues in the light build

  • What battery is used (type and brand and condition)

It’s seems to be a lottery no matter who I’ve ordered from. Last TMart deal I got a very nice 3-mode and my son got a very nice 1 mode from the same TMart warehouse.

thx,

i ordered one !

Nice deal. No wonder the poor guy who got ripped off paying $49.99 for essentially the same light is embarrassed!

Another SK68 OK, ordered one.
Thanks ezarc!

I am a noob to flashlights, but I was wondering about modding this.
i already have a 3 mode one from amazon’s fordex deal.

I was going to follow this tutorial
http://www.northstreetlabs.org/creeupgrade

I was thinking T6, since i have a T6 XM-L 18650 and its amazingly bright. I have a 14500 on the way.

What other cree emitters do you recommend?
here’s the t6 I was looking at
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Cree-Single-Die-XM-L-LED-T6-w-16mm-Round-Base-/390267410768?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5addc01950

and perhaps an XP-G R5?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cree-XLamp-XPG-R5-White-High-Power-LED-Light-Emitter-370Lm-3-7V-1A-w-16mm-Base-/261147686133?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ccd9d74f5

16mm is mentioned in the tutorial. I am assuming thats all i need to do a solder out swap out?

I was charged $3.95?

I dont understand why he used different batteries in the beam shots. With the original emitter he used a regular AA cell and with the XM-L emitter he used a 14500. Pointless comparison.

Says 7.59 now. Wtf?

true, perhaps he wanted to make the comparison more intense

Different warehouses have different prices. HK warehouse is cheapest option. You’ll receive it eventually.

Weird…I just bought one for $3.63. I can’t stand their beams but nonetheless have a couple. Lol. This ones getting gifted.

Thanks ezarc!

what is the delivery time if someone ordered one?

Earlier on my Iphone, the price kept coming up $7.59

Got home and on my desktop price was $3.95.

Ordered one, and it’s coming from Tmart US.

Says they ship in 1 to 2 days with a total of @ 6 days delivery. ymmv.

I was interested to see his comment about the "factory buck-boost driver circuit"

The link to the orginal light he started with was here http://dx.com/p/sipik-sk68-cree-q3-wc-120-lumen-convex-lens-led-flashlight-black-1-aa-1-14500-39585 and claims to have a "Digital Regulated 450mA Current Output."

What do people think here? These SK68 clones are a lottery to be sure but I would seriously doubt that any of them run a proper "buck-boost" driver at that price. I would guess that above Vf they just go direct drive. Can anyone comment?
