Wondering if anyone has a copy of the H03SE or H04 firmware. I have an H03 with the horrible UI (hold to turn off) and I’d like to try and reflash the firmware with the new UI.
Trying to gather details before I disassemble and yank out the current driver. Any idea on which MCU it uses?
It cannot be updated and the firmware is not public as well.
Sure, might not be public but if anyone has downloaded it from their H03SE/H04 then I’m sure it could be uploaded to an H03 (if the driver is essentially the same).
Yes, I’d rather have LVP warning blinks over hold-for-off.
Do you think IC is unlocked and you can rip off firmware? Try it and report back 
More simple is to replace whole driver. For example same size is Convoy H1 driver. I have made Fet +1 driver for H03 too
I’m not sure if memory read-out protection is enabled on the microcontroller. As stated, I’d rather gather info if it’s possible before ripping into it.
As for swapping in a Convoy H1 driver, I believe this would be going from a somewhat efficient buck driver to a linear driver so not exactly ideal.
