I believe the XP-E has the same solder pad size as the XP-G and XP-G2
3.3mm square

And after my success with a skillet on the stove reflow (which I was VERY apprehensive about) with the 12A SRK Nanjg 32*7135 driver, I am convinced that reflowing a led can’t be any harder
As others have said, drop the entire base into a stainless steel skillet, set on the stove, use some needle nose tweezers, when you see the solder melt pick up the emitter from old base, then put the emitter on the new base paying special attention to the polarity, then get it off the heat quickly
Or the safe route, buy that one on the copper Noctigon (much better heat transfer) and use some ultra gray sensor safe RTV to stick it to the pill (much safer and you won’t run the risk of burning yourself or getting stuff too hot)
Those centering rings work well as ouchyfoot said
By the way, that is a nice little flashlight!
