Comfy, that lens you linked, the threaded on top one? If it was taken down at the top for P-60 OD of around 25.6mm, would it be around 20mm tall to fit according to the height as well? Looks like a good lens, might be worth some tinker time…
Eggzactly. (sorry, sorry)
It's tough to say about the height:OD thing, there's a ton of extra material on the outside of this one. You'd probably have to sacrifice one, just turn it down to 26.5 and then see what's left over. Otherwise you'd need a mold of the inside surface you could then add some reasonable wall thickness to, to get an idea of how it would work out.
Don't get me wrong about this reflector, it is not a pencil-beam thrower by any means. But it is a very pretty, even, useful beam pattern. A big center spot with a crisp edge, and gradually dimming out across the spill area.
Ok, what else do I need from FT? lol, gonna have to try a couple of those, might have to get MRsDNF to make a light to hold it.
Sure wish I had a lathe!

XPG2, the thinnest insulator you can make (like the throwaway tissue-thin nonstick backing from the adhesive insulating discs), and see what happens...
Oh, there's a host made for those weird 37mm reflectors. It's one of the two IOS used to stock... T10B or something like that?

Screw-in OP SST50 reflector: http://www.cnqualitygoods.com/goods.php?id=1602
I'm not sure which reflector comes with the host, but it looks like it's OP, if so that's the one that works sweet with the MTG2.
The dome on the SSC P7 measures 9.2mm, the dome on an MT-G2 is 7.9mm. So yes, anything made for the P7 will easily fit over the MT-G2.
