Backup light in case of power outage

I use mine daily at work, but most look forward to CAMPING TRIPS!!!
One was with a HD2010 about 80 feet away from my balcony.
The other was the full size Deft about 70 feet away.
The guy with the HD2010 on him froze for about 5 seconds before he ran.
The one with that got hit with the Deft is kinda funny.
He ran immediately, but I went after him as he ran down the street.
I had the spot on him for about a block and a half before he turned a corner.
Although he got away, he must have been freaking out with the spot on him for that long.

Like most others, I mostly just play with my lights. But when some of you ‘light up’ other people do you ever feel scared about hurting their eyes? Because some lights I know just shouldn’t be shone into people’s eyes.
The main lights I use are my Zebralights - SC51w, H502c and H51c. They’re used for lighting the way as I don’t really like to use the house lights. But having said that though, living with two other people, my flashlight usage is really only limited to my room or those late nights when I get back home.
Otherwise, the majority of my lights are left in their holsters and sitting around doing nothing, especially my bright lights (ie. > 500 lumens) I hardly use them, but I know that they are there just in case I need them.
-Nightlight (zebra sc51)
-Worklight, inspecting stuff, as a headlamp (L2m Solarforce)
-play with them and for walks
I used them for work and play.Have a lot of hobbies and cant live without a flashlight.
Camping,fishing,hunting,biking, working on rc planes and helis gotta have a light when
you drop that tiny screw in the garage at night.making sure I’m not double charging my
reloads,and just lighting things up at night.I too wonder if my neighbors think I’m
crazy but who cares.Luckily I got a canyon behind the house and i’m the corner house.
I’ve been lighting up the canyon lately.I’ve always had lights but just recently that i got some that are really bright.

What exactly would you say you do with your flashlights?
Well, you see, Bobs, I collect them, mod them, build them, read about them, wear them, leave them lying about without batteries to piss off the fiance when she tries to use them, think about them constantly (it's a sickness, I'm sure), play with them, use them whenever I can, etc....

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve begun to notice that a disturbing number of people haven’t seen it.
I use them for Work, as a city maint carpenter I sometimes need to board and secure buildings without power. I’ve also had to navigate LRT tunnels, crawl spaces, attics, inspecting comercical ceilings, looking above ceiling tiles, and an assortment if other everyday tasks. At home I use ultra low modes to check on my baby boy, and high modes to see what the dog is barking at.
I origionally took up collecting flashlights, when I quit smoking 11 years ago. I’m a fidgeter, sometimes my hands need something to do so I don’t look awkward. I always have a flashlight or three, a multi tool and keys on a carabiner. I’m gadgety that way. If someone offered a grappling hook that I could fit in my back pocket for a reasonable price, if buy it.
I obsess about some things I use, but I’ve always loved flashlights. Typically I try not to annoy others, but I do like to show them off
It’s my hobby, and I like knowing as much as I do about them.
I look at them, wipe them off, re-lube the o-rings even though they've been just sitting there, look at them, hold/fondle while watching Breaking Bad on Netflix, swap modules/heads/tail caps, shine on wall in front of me while watching Mad Men on Netflix, foist my opinion upon the entire on-line universe about (nearly) every light I get, swap boots/lens/bezels, look at them, caress them, irritate Mrs. Foy with them, burden the Web with pictures of them, brag about them, defend the purchase of them, complain about them, change my opinion about them then use that to further annoy, look at them, smile at them, defend my passion for them, play with them while watching Lost on Netflix, buy them, sell them, trade them, keep them, throw (some of) them away, give some of them away, return some of them, ignore some of them, break some of them, Greased Lightning some of them, bake some of them and some of the time,

Why? Not already enough posts, lists, and charts with lumen, lux, amp draw, design, distance and preference online threads in the light and laser forums?
I like to walk around the place at night before I go to bed. I use some for spotlighting rabbits, racoons, deer, pigs, feral cats, and whatever else that’s out at night.
