Wow. I totally missed that. Forgive me if I missed this too but are any of the modes realized by PWM at humanly detectable frequencies?
I only know the C01S and cannot notice any flickering when moving the light. Looks good to me.

I donāt notice any on my C01S either. With a new mode and UI, Iām hoping that stays the same. 
I may have understood that the C01S driver does not use PWM to produce the low mode.

I was kept busy for a while but now I got the chance to update this thread again. So, now we are at 361 pieces accounted for BLF and TLF users. Not too shabby if you ask me. $) However, Sofirn is slightly afraid that demand may not fully meet supply. They seem to be producing a larger quantity of this little special one. I do not know the proportion of ones with 625nm (XP-E2 red) and of ones with 660nm (XP-E2 deep red) but I hope they will focus a bit more on the deep red ones as first results looked very promising.
In any case, I am confident that there IS a considerable demand for such a special light but I do not expect this one to be a "category A" product like SP33 or C8F with many thousands pieces being sold in a year. Depending on Sofirn's sales plans, this light might also be an interesting device for authorities (policemen, soldiers), space programs, laboratories, research and so on. I wonder how far demand could increase if this light got enough attention in worldwide advertisement.
Maybe Ridley Scott should introduce this little gadget in the next Alien movie or Horatio Caine could wave around a bit with it while investigating another crime scene on CSI Miami? Then, everyone's wanna get their own C01R. Just thinkin'... :-P

If at all possible, please put me down as only wanting 2 deep red ones with the wine red anodization (instead of 2 deep red and 2 red). Apologies and thank you in advanceā¦ If my quantity cannot change, I will still buy four as I originally stated.
The C01R will has two groups while C01S with white led has the same simple L-H
Interested in 1. Prefer Wine Red ano and deep red emitter.
Although Iām not a fan of the C01 / C01S design, I have a lot of them because itās not easy to get hold of 1 x AAA flashlights with good CRI emitters at affordable prices. Also, the 1 x AAA format is my favorite because it is not uncomfortable to always carry one of them with you, and the batteries are everywhere and cheap. I greatly appreciate SOFIRNās efforts to please the BLF community
That is why I am very interested in the new anodizing that Barry announced: desert tan, green, orange, etc.
