Barry contacted me with an issue. When I promised to host the group buy thread I said I wanted to do it if the discount offered by Sofirn for the gb was substantial. He said the normal price would be 70 dollar so that was fine. Now he wants the normal price on Amazon to be lower ($50), at least for the duration of the group buy, to be able to collect verified reviews, which seem very important on Amazon (I do not know the system very well). I guess I’m alright with that. Here is his mail (he was ok if I posted it):

Hi Jos,

The Sofirn Q8 arrived USA FBA warehouse and they are making it available to buy.

One thing I need to talk about. The price now is $72.64, I supposed to give 45% off private code to make it $39.95. But is it okay that I make the public price $49.94, and give 20% off private code to make it $39.95? The final price is the same for BLFers in groupbuy. And the public price will get back to normal after the group buy ends.

The reason why I want to do this is because 45% off order can not have verfied review, but in my expreience 20% off order will get verified review. You know reiview especially verified purchased reviews are very important for sell in amazon.

What do you say? I don’t mean to hurt BLFers, I just wanna make sure the reviews are verified.
