With the “astigamtism” I suppose they mean “stroboscopic”, as many other brands say! But I already started thinking that I have to use my glasses to correct the flashlight beam 
Mode 5 is probably the only option I would choose, as the others seem pretty “unpractical” at least for my tastes.
There is also another thing that act like a draw-back for me, that is the twisty zoom! I like zoomies, but I do prefere push-pull zoomies.
