Sofirn SD05 XHP50.2 2550lm Dive Flashlight $18.39 flashlight only (BG) and $24.07 kit (AMZ Prime Deal)

Got one, Sure wish it was a different color, but I've been wanting to try out one of those ringy thingies.

Thanks, MR!

Anyone actually use it underwater?

Not me. Finding the right dive flashlight depends on your use case. Here are some criteria for dive flashlights:

Ease of Use
Comfort/Security of Grip or Mount
Beam Size and Shape
Light Output
Power Levels
Use as a Primary Light

The Sofirn SD05 is easy to use, wide beam, bright and you can use it as an EDC when not in the water. Some prefer no USB charging port built in because they don't trust the little silicone/rubber cover.

I just did a dunk test on mine in a utility sink, that’s it. I’m allergic to drownding.

Me too. I was just wondering if it is a serious diving light or just an extra waterproof land lover light.

Can’t find the color temperature.

SIZE. Beam, wise, Almost a clone of the Imalent DN35.
Apart from the 2200 against 2550 high.
Rotary via click switches. and 21000 over the 26650 cells.

If it half as good it’ll be a good light.

I have a 3 led Divers light 2 x 26650 cells.
Magnetic On/OFF only sw Magic,
Great all weather torch.

They tend to be both better made and better proofing than std ones.

Cool White. @6000K

Thanks for the input! :-)

Here's a little more info on the light: SOFIRN SD05

Thanks LumenMax. Sofirn, if you are listening, please return to offering neutral emitters again.

I concur! Neutral White fan myself :-) Folomov has some nice warm white flashlights, like the EDC C2 https://www.banggood.com/FOLOMOV-EDC-C2-Nicha-E21A-8Mode-400Lumens-Magnetic-Tail-EDC-Flashlight-p-1495399.html?p=R4240016492493201711&custlinkid=372389 $27.99 coupon code BGBSFV. I have this light and love it.

Hey Lightbringer, thanks for the recommendation. My SD05 arrived today. It's still mid afternoon here but it certainly seems bright. I like the ring control.

But mostly, the size and appearance of the light blow me away. It's smaller than a C8 and looks to be more pocketable. Fit and finish are top notch to my eye and fingers.

This is a nifty light. If it came in purple, red or blue I'd buy some more.

You're welcome!

is there a bg/ae code available yet?
thx alot!

Hi. https://www.banggood.com/custlink/vDvD9ytJNy use BG13TH to bring price to $18.39. Thank you.

Is this light OK for Saltwater use?

Yes, up to the specified depth of 100 meters.

Buncha reviews here reflect favorably on it, and a few folx actually took it diving. Goggle around here for a bunch of reviews.

Just follow normal rinsing procedures in clean water to not tempt fate.
