When I dedomed my first XML on copper after reading how it could be done right here on BLF. (Hot method, no gasoline then) and screwed the head on my Trustfire X7 and got a reading of 135 kCd and I could see the led position and opening of the reflector was still way off..... Yeehaah!

My most memorable experience would be that of just browsing the forum and realizing that there are so many flashlights out there. Up until then, I had only thought about flashlights like the ones you would find at Home Depot or Canadian Tire (local supply stores).
Never did I realize that you could get such better lights. I certainly would have not have ever run into manufacturers like Jetbeam, Nitecore, Sunwayman, Klarus, Zebralight, etc. at my local shops where I would normally look for a flashlight.
Mine was the realization that some people actually have MORE flashlights than me!!

My most memorable moment is probably when , after a hell of a lot o work , sb finally figured out a way to keep spammers out of the forum . Only people that were here back then would appreciate what a huge thing that was. It inspired me to compose a limerick in his honor , and I just can't stop .

My most memorable experience would be when i built my first mag D Green Monster and when i turned it on it worked :)
Hard to tell what my most memorable moment was. Before joining I spent DAYS reading plenty of reviews and that made me loving flashlights. I think that´s it

My most memorable moment was when I realized I was waiting for the mail to be delivered. I was hooked.
I am brand new, but have been lurking for a good while! I promise to be around waaaay after this contest! My best experience here has been the review of the XinTd light…I am in law enforcement and am tired of losing my Surefires on the job. I picked up a cheap Ultrafire for free, and wanted to step up to the XinTd! Also getting into batteries as well…unbelievable amount of information out there, this site is both confusing me and helping me learn!

Most memorable BLF experience was realizing that I could pop in a driver and emitter and create a much better light than what I purchased
So far my most memorable BLF experience has been my warm reception into the forum. I’ve been a part of several forums but that was the only time I ever developed a smile in joining a forum.

I still remember a while ago a respected senior member passed away. Old lumen called for fund raise for the family. So many members contributed. It must have meant something.
