Buy directly from sofirnlight.com is a another choice for customers. You are protected by platform where you purchased from. But on sofirnlight.com you are also protected by PayPal if anything wrong happen. Most importantly, most orders on sofirnlight.com will be from sofirn fans. I don’t think sofirn will ruin the reputation among fans.
So, I think it the same to buy on sofirnlight.com and other platforms. You can choose which one you like.
Fans know that sofirn offer good products at great prices which means the profits rate is low.
sofirnlight.com will offer almost the same price as on aliexpress, but will send some discounted codes regularly which will be started in 2020.
Yeah, it may be someone forgot to update the description. That’s the old SF13 number.
I am very curious what the differences are between first and second SF13.
Is it a different LED? Different driver?
I ask because I modify 2AA lights for older neighbors —- always replacing the LED with a high color rendering LED or an amber LED for pedestrian safety.
So I can get the older SF13 online several dollars cheaper — if the only difference is the LED.
I received my Q8 diffuser, installed a cone of aluminum foil inside the diffuser. Now I have a decent replica of the LT1. Only CW tint, no bail handle or battery charging, but in a pinch I’ll have a second lantern type light at my disposal. Yes, I have used the Q8 in ceiling bounce, the reflector/diffuser setup is much more effective at spreading light around a room.
