Thats strange that they made it too small for protected cells, what were they thinking about?
Perhaps they should have released some sort of extension rind to accomodate for those few mm?
Unfortunately if it doesn't take Protected 18650 Batteries, that is a Major disadvantage for its use as a headlamp (for me).
Btw, the OP David100fires hasn't been seen or heard of for about 3 days....
