Suggest me some 18650's for my Sup Beam K40

The only batteries I have today are the XTAR 18700 2600mAh.
I need to buy some more batteries to go with my newly aquired K40 (and to go with some other lights as well for that matter)
Suggestions?
Would there be any benefits with lets say the Panasonic 3100mAh compared to the ones I already have in terms of better max output for the light?
Or is it just run time that improves?

Xstar protected 2600 mah … They are $70 for 10 on ebay

I don’t think Bob is doing international shipping yet…

You're right - my apologies, joa. I skipped right over the fact you are in Sweden.

I did the same thing, but deleted my post. :zipper_mouth_face: :weary:
If the WallBuys sale pans out, the 2600 Xtars are going to be under $4

Those are the exact same XTAR as I have. Good value.
However I wonder if some 3100’s will make my light any “better”. As you can see from my question I’m not a battery guy…… 0:)

Ah, I think I know what you mean.

No, the light won’t be any “better” because the driver in the light is a buck driver, and it’s regulated. The light won’t get any brighter if you use 3100’s but it will run slightly longer before you need to recharge them cells.

Cheers!
