My wife bought 2 taclight lanterns as a gift for father’s day.
I knew they were junk, but did not dare complain about them, and will re-gift them.
Just read post about fenix clone at fastech for $12 may go that way
I will suggest to her to not buy anything advertised on info-mercials any more.
cheap junk lanterns are perfect as my kids keep losing them. They’ve lost 2 Blitzwolfs and 2 of the
$10 amazon lanterns. Not to mention sleeping bags, Convoys and various AA/AAA lights.
They camp again soon so something will be lost. Cheap is in 
at 4/$20 they are mod fodder.
the ones at the shop are getting the leds replaced with the the cheap ebay “hi cri”
and the battery box gutted and replaced with 2 18650 and a tp4056.
lightly sand the globe and they are fairly good.
i did mine and its ok.
as for durability they have none.
but if you use it for a lantern instead of a speed bump for a humvee they will last.
