i see that in the protection test, you run the batteries down to below 2 volts and sometimes below 1.75 volts. these batteries have no protection circuit. Is this safe to do with this chemistry.? can i run these without protection until dead and then recharge ? thanks for the great info

I am only below 2 volt for about 2 seconds and then at a high load. The batteries are not discharger below 2 volt.

No, you will damage the batteries if you run them below 2 volt and probably also below 2.5 volt.

Does the bt-c3100 do pulse charging?

I don’t like pulse personally.

Xstar MC-0 does ok at 250 mA but it’s not too hard to mod a tp4056 board to even lower charge current.
