This is a weird set up for a standard consumer product. I do not understand why they would charge the cells in series. Once again HKJ, thanks for another thorough review.
I am glad there are people out there that not only understand these devices like you do, but also can relay the information to those of us less technically inclined. I read your reviews now prior to purchasing ANY charger. I passed on an OPUS V2.2 (due to pulse charging) when the vendor messed the order up, and instead went with the Nitecore D4 which opened up owning LiFePO4 batteries for me…
The D4 does not analyze of course, but is a plug and play kind of device that will let me know when the battery is no longer good and cannot be charged.
