Thanks HKJ, what do you define as an acceptable tolerance for matching cells? From the numbers the 2% capacity difference at 1A becomes a 4% difference at 20A.
Reason I ask is there seems to be a flood of different brands of high discharge IMR 26650s, and I think they are all coming from the same manufacturer.

I’m guessing running these batteries in series with FET based drivers pushing 13+ amps, and we’re going to find out how safe IMR chemistry really is?
